Chris Del Mar is Professor of General Practice at the University of Queensland. He has experience in running experimental trials in general practice, addressing both clinical and health services research issues, as well as observational studies. In addition he is involved in many systematic reviews of the literature. He is Co-ordinating Editor of the Cochrane Acute Respiratory Infections Review Group; immediate past Chair of the RACGP National Research Committee; and Editor of the research section of the Australian Family Physician.
