Sexual Health Physician, Glasgow

Susan Carr qualified in Glasgow in 1974. Since graduating Susan has gained numerous qualifications in the field of Sexual Health:Diploma in Obstetrics D.R.C.O.G. of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; Certificate of the Family Planning Association FPA Cert. Of the United Kingdom; Recognition as Instructing Doctor in Family Planning, Glasgow; M.Phil., Glasgow University 1992 (Law and ethics in relation to medicine); M.F.F.P, 1994, Member of the Faculty of Family Planning of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; Diploma of the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine; and Membership of the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine.

Susan is a Consultant in Family Planning and Sexual health at the Sandyford Initiative for Sexual health in Glasgow.

She is lead clinician for Psychosexual, Lesbian and Transgender Services and the Centre for Female Prostitutes. She has wide experience in all areas of sexual healthcare and is currently Chair of a working group compiling a Special Skills Module in Psychosexual medicine for the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare of the RCOG in UK. She chairs the International Society for Sexuality and Cancer and is currently on sabbatical leave in Melbourne.
